Propolis

Hello everyone. Ahhh. I’m finally getting back to my studies today in herbology. Two months of a crazy move now rooting. May it root deep, meditate well this winter, and give birth to beautiful flowers and fruit in the spring.

Did you know tree resins are collected by bees and made Into propolis . Propolis is used as a sealant for hive safety and insulation. Propolis is used as an antiseptic to keep a bee hive clean. In small quantities propolis can be gathered without harm. If too much is taken and at the wrong time of the year, it creates stress and harm to bee hive temperature. It’s more sustainable to collect propolis from small farms who sell excess that they have harvested. Or, raise your own beehives!
